In the heart of Astatula, FL, we had the pleasure of capturing the enchanting love story of Alexis, an Industrial Engineer at Walt Disney World, and William, a Neuro ICU nurse at Advent Health.

Clemson Beginnings: Neighbors Turned Soulmates

Their journey began as neighbors and friends at Clemson University's Lightsey on-campus apartments. Their first date, a Walmart tire adventure, set the tone for their unique love story, rooted in the charm of Upstate South Carolina.

Sunset Proposal on Sullivan's Island

With William's deployment looming, he chose Sullivan's Island for a sunset proposal after a romantic dinner in downtown Charleston. The beach proposal, complete with hidden friends capturing the moment, marked a magical beginning to their engagement.

Nature's Embrace: Cypress Creek Farmhouse

Sharing a passion for nature, Alexis and William chose Cypress Creek Farmhouse for its natural beauty and scenic ponds—ideal for William and his groomsmen's pre-wedding fishing escapade. Inspired by their love for the outdoors, the couple incorporated eucalyptus into their decor, creating a romantic and organic ambiance.

On their special day, Alexis stunned in a dress from Lily's Bridal Outlet, and Kristy's Artistry Design Team ensured she radiated beauty. Elizabeth, William's sister, officiated the ceremony, adding a personal touch. The rain held off, allowing everyone to enjoy the picturesque Cypress Creek Farmhouse.

Event Concepts provided the perfect musical backdrop as DJ, CDC Floral adorned the venue with beautiful blooms, and Joyce Otero Weddings flawlessly coordinated the celebration. Serve All Catering made sure everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner to start out the night! The bride’s wonderful Aunt made their gorgeous wedding cake, and Lu Belle’s Cakes provided the amazing dessert spread.

Dancing Under the Stars: A Night to Remember

Surrounded by close family and friends, Alexis and William celebrated their love, dancing the night away! Something super special and unique that the couple did that we LOVED was halfway during the Father & Daughter Dance, as well as the Mother & Son Dance, they invited all of the guests who were a Dad & Daughter or a Mother & Son to join in their special dance! It literally gave us goosebumps it was so sweet! The beautiful bride also gave her gorgeous bouquet of flowers to her Oma during the Anniversary dance. The magical atmosphere, the couple’s special touches, and the natural beauty of Cypress Creek Farmhouse created a wedding day that will forever be etched in their hearts.
